Workplace Audit
For Companies

MCG's Workplace Audit.

Every employee with a public presence represents your company, whether or not anyone is directing it. MCG's Workplace Audit measures how your people use their personal brands and, through them, how your company is represented.

Why Leadership Invests

Your Reputation Is Carried by Your People.

Executive visibility, reputation architecture, and internal branding and marketing are usually managed as separate problems. The Workplace Audit treats them as one: the sum of how the people inside a company present themselves, and the company, in public.

01

A Workforce Proud to Represent the Company

People who know how to present themselves well are more willing to be seen with the company's name beside their own.

02

A Stronger Employer Brand

The way your team shows up in public is the most credible recruiting message a company has.

03

A Protected Reputation

Risk that sits in individual public profiles is found and addressed before it becomes the company's problem.

04

More Organic Business

Trusted people attract business on their own. A team that is visible for the right reasons compounds it.

05

Morale and Alignment

A shared standard gives everyone the same understanding of what the company stands for, and of their place in it.

06

Executive Visibility That Sets the Standard

Leaders see where they stand beside their teams, and lead the standard rather than stand outside it.

What It Measures

The Rigor of the Brand Audit, Built for an Organization.

A proprietary audit of how employees use their personal brands and, through them, represent their company. It asks 50 questions across the same 25 dimensions and five weighted pillars as the Identity Positioning™ Brand Audit, and it is built for your company: it carries your company's name throughout, can show your logo, and never references the book.

The Workplace Audit is not intended to be invasive or controlling; it is a good-faith effort to improve outcomes.

Every participant reads an introduction explaining this purpose before the first question.
The Engagement

Four Steps, Start to Finish.

01

Scope

Engagements are accepted by application and scoped to the number of participants. Pricing is on request.

02

Participate

Your people receive a participant link. Each reads the introduction on the audit's good-faith purpose, then answers 50 questions.

03

Two Reports

Every participant sees their full individual results the moment they finish. Leadership receives a separate report of trends across participants, never individual answers or scores.

04

The Leadership Conversation

A working conversation with MCG's leadership team is included in every engagement, to turn the report into decisions.

The Leadership Report

What Leadership Receives.

01

The Organization Composite

One score for the organization, and how participants are distributed across the five bands.

02

Pillar Averages

How the organization scores on each pillar, and where risk concentrates.

03

Policy Recommendations

Guidance leadership can adopt as policy, drawn from the pattern of results.

04

Leaders and the Wider Team

How leaders compare with the people they lead.

05

Weakest and Strongest Dimensions

Where the organization is exposed, and where it already leads.

06

The Actions That Move the Most People

The changes that would lift the largest share of your team.

The Privacy Model

Leadership Sees Patterns. Never People.

An audit like this only works if people answer honestly, and people answer honestly when they know exactly how their answers will be used. That is why the privacy model is part of the product, not a footnote to it.

Participants

Their Results Are Theirs

Every participant sees their own full results the moment they finish.

Leadership

Trends Only

Leadership receives trends across participants, never individual answers or scores.

Small Groups

No Group Smaller Than Three

No department or role group smaller than three people is shown, so no one can be identified by elimination.

Employee Records

How Your People's Records Are Handled.

Contact

Only When You Ask

MCG will never contact any member of your organization unless you ask us to.

Responses can be permanently deleted at your request.

Questions

About the Workplace Audit.

Is the Workplace Audit a form of employee monitoring?

No. It is not intended to be invasive or controlling; it is a good-faith effort to improve outcomes. Participants read why it exists before they answer a single question, they see their own full results the moment they finish, and leadership only ever sees trends.

Can leadership see an individual's answers or score?

No. Leadership receives a report of trends across participants, never individual answers or scores. No department or role group smaller than three people is shown.

Will MCG contact our employees?

MCG will never contact any member of your organization unless you ask us to.

Can responses be deleted?

Yes. Responses can be permanently deleted at your request.

What does the Workplace Audit cost?

Pricing is on request. Every engagement is scoped to the number of participants, and engagements are accepted by application. Fees are due on booking and are not refundable once the engagement is scheduled, including issuing the participant link.

How is it different from the Brand Audit?

The Identity Positioning™ Brand Audit is for individuals and traces its priority moves to the Manifesto. The Workplace Audit uses the same 25 dimensions and five weighted pillars across 50 questions, carries your company's name throughout, can show your logo, and never references the book. It adds a second report for leadership, built for decisions across the organization.

Are scores produced by AI?

No. Scores come from a fixed, weighted scoring model. AI is never used to produce a score.

Where does the audit run?
