The State of Personal Branding
The yearly report on how personal brands measure across the five pillars.
identitypositioning.com, MCG's technology hub, has no blog by design. What its audits, surveys, quizzes, and benchmarks reveal is published here as MCG research, in aggregate, under a published standard.
An annual report on how personal brands measure across The Five Personal Brand Pillars, drawn from Identity Positioning™ Brand Audits taken on identitypositioning.com. It will report composites, band distributions, and pillar patterns, with the dates and sample behind every figure.
The first edition is in preparation. It will be published here once its sample meets the standard below, and not before. No figures from it have been released.
Status: in preparation.
The same rules apply to every figure MCG publishes from Identity Positioning™ data. They match the identitypositioning.com Terms, which provide that survey and quiz responses may be published in aggregate form.
Findings describe groups of responses. No individual result is ever published.
Nothing that identifies a person or an organization is published without their permission.
At least 25 responses overall, and no subgroup smaller than 25. A figure that cannot meet this is not published.
Every finding states when its responses were collected and how many there were.
Every article carries a How This Was Measured statement naming the source, the dates, the sample, and how figures were rounded.

Updates to the percentile benchmarks the Brand Audit reports against, published once a sample supports them.
Findings from surveys and quizzes run on identitypositioning.com, reported in aggregate.
The first findings will appear here, on Insights, and in the Insights feed when they meet the standard.
Research is drawn from audits, surveys, and quizzes taken on identitypositioning.com and is only ever published in aggregate. The free Identity Positioning™ Brand Audit is one of them.
