Identity Quest™ Puts Every Move on Screen in a Walking, Animated World
Across the v4.4 releases, every post, pitch, booking and rest day in the personal brand simulator plays as a scene on the road to Brand City.
For Immediate Release
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Nov. 2, 2026: Mashman Consulting Group today detailed the animation work behind Identity Quest™, the world's first personal brand simulator, which now plays every move as a scene. Across the v4.4 releases, the player's figure walks a road toward Brand City, whose six towers stand for the six tiers of the Hierarchy of Personal Branding, and each choice of the week plays out on that road before the numbers move. The game is free to play at identityquest.press (opens in a new tab).
A World That Walks with the Player
The Walk, introduced in v4.4.0, turned the game's dashboard into a world. Posting, networking, pitching the press, publishing and investing each play as a scene on the road, and an office of nine rooms is built from the player's own investments and hires. Version 4.4.1 added Brand City, a street the player drags along, where eight lots open with what they have done: an Academy, a press office, a radio studio, a headquarters, a bookstore, a theater, their practice and a billboard. The Office can be dragged room to room.
Scenes That Move Like People
Version 4.4.2 rebuilt the figure's rig so arms bend naturally with the direction it faces and waves pivot at the elbow, and Learn now plays its own scene for each way of studying: reading, a course, a masterclass, a coach or a certification. Version 4.4.3 introduced Your Look, where players set a screened name and choose a color, badge, title, hair and outfit from fixed lists, with no photographs. In v4.4.4, outfits follow the wardrobe of each tier, accessories such as a scarf, a tote or headphones carry the player's color, and up to three friends appear in the world: one walks a stretch of The Walk beside the player, and they stroll Brand City.
Information alone doesn't have any power, it is when that information is applied, its power is expressed.

Smooth, and Built for Every Player
The idle walk is drawn at a steady pace, decorative animation pauses when it is off screen, and the game's scripts load ahead of time, so the world stays light on phones. Scenes are part of how the game teaches, so they always play. The one exception is a device's own Reduce Motion setting, which stills the walk between moves and shows each move's key frame instead.
Identity Quest™ teaches Identity Positioning™, MCG's proprietary methodology, by making it playable. Players can start as a guest on their own device or sign in to save across devices, and the game is for players 16 and older. Every version is described on the game's Update Notes (opens in a new tab).
